Architect Student

Valentina Riera is a 3rd year B.S. Architecture student at Northeastern University with a minor in International Affairs. Originally from Venezuela, Valentina has had an international experience living in Houston, Kuwait, Angola, and, most recently, Spain during a study-abroad architecture program. Driven by these diverse cultural influences, she aspires to enrich the ways we experience our daily lives through design and strengthening communities. In her career, Valentina would like to pursue her passion of approaching design solutions in a pragmatic, sustainable manner that would work to address and properly account for the needs of the community served. She is interested in continuing to learn about the intersectionality of social, political, and economic factors that play a role in urban design.
