Oklahoma City has witnessed an immense amount of downtown growth however, a prevalence of surface parking lots, infrastructural barriers and a lack of connectivity stymied the potential for three prominent health care institutions to grow collectively along the 10th Street corridor.
Response
Providing a proper setting for facilitating the institutional growth requires accommodating supporting services, industries and housing on strategic sites through property consolidation with a focus on specific sub-areas and streetscape enhancements.
Results
Incremental commercial infill development is taking place near St. Anthony’s Hospital and the Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center.
